    The SuperWiper® Desktop NVMe + SATA mixed ports is industrial and Extremely Fast NVMe (PCIE SSD) and SATA Drive Erase Unit, erasing 4 NVMe SSD and 4 SATA drives simultaneously. The unit performs at a very high speed, in a secure Linux environment, and with the most efficient user-friendly application. The desktop style durable unit features an 8” detachable Touchscreen color LCD display with HDMI port, 8 channel open tray for easy drive insertion, 4 NVMe ports (include secure mounting brackets for M.2 NVMe adapters and 2.5" (U.2) NVMe SSD), 4 SATA ports, 10 USB3.1 ports(2 ports are Gen2 with 10Gigabit/s), One e-SATA port .The SuperWiper's erase application supports both multiple channels erase operation where there user can combine more than one drive into a session, as well as independent channel erase operation where each drive can run in a separate session. All the erase session are independent of each other and can run simultaneously.

    The SuperWiper's application supports Erase Protocols:
  1. DoD 5220-22M (ECE) erase specification (With 7 writing pattern passes and one verification pass)
  2. DoD Lite 5220-22M (E) erase specification (With 3 writing pattern passes and one verification pass)

    Not all the above erase protocols are supported by NVMe SSD (Security erase, Enhanced Security Erase and Sanitize are not supported by NVMe SSD), but they can be used to erase USB flash drives and SATA drives.

    For R.2 compliance, the user can perform independent erase verification.

    The SuperWiper application is very unique, in that it gives the user a maximum throughput of erased devices. The user can select to run erase of 4 NVMe SSD simultaneously in 4 sessions and 4 SATA drives in additional 4 sessions. Some of the NVMe SSD are extremely fast and the erase can achieve up to 94GB/min (Like Samsung MZVPV512HDGL). Some of the erase protocols are NIST 800-88 compliance, and the application generates log files and NIST 800-88 erase certifications that can be printed or easily exported to USB flash drive.

    Summary of the main features

    The Unit:
    1) Built-in 10 USB3.1 ports that can be converted to 10 SATA ports to perform at a very high speed (Up to 20GB/min), or be used to erase SD/MicroSD and other flash drives (please see Option for the additional 4 USB3.0/USB3.1 to SATA conversion kit)
    2) The unit runs under Linux OS, which is a more secure OS than Windows.( It is an OS that is less targeted by malware)
    3) Detachable Display: The user can plug external monitor and still operate the unit
    4) Include 4 NVMe high speed cables that can be connected directly to 2.5" NVMe SSD drives(U.2 SFF-8639) or M.2 NVMe with holding brackets

    The Main Application:
    1) The application runs very efficiently due to a low OS overhead
    2) Simple and easy to use; all designed with a touchscreen icons, and in few clicks, user can be set and up and running

    4) Supports Security Erase and Enhanced Security Erase protocols, which are very important way to erase data from SATA/SAS SSD and logical drives
    5) Use Continues Mode erase operation, in which each port is independent of other ports. The user can plug a hard disk drive in one port and start the erase operation, and when the erase is completed plug a different drive and start another erase operation with very little down time
    6) Format or Quick Format drives with: NTFS, ex-FAT, FAT32, HFS+(Mac), EXT4 (Linux) and with MBR, GPT, and MAC
    7) Logs and Certificates: It generates detailed log files and erase certifications includes NIST 800-88 format

    • Parallel operations:
    • Multiple Session Operations: The user can run a multiple efficient parallel operation on any available ports. Also, the user can combine more than one port/storage devices in the same sessions. Also. the user can mix different type of operations, and each operation is set as a new independent session. Example of operations: Erase data with DoD protocol from a drive plugged on one port, Quick format another drive on a second port, while performing user-erase of drives plugged on the remaining ports.
    • Drive Detection Application Screen: All drives and storage devices that are connected to the units will be scanned and displayed in one application screen, called “the detection screen”. The user can tap on each drive to get its detailed info, as well as selecting it for the desired operation they are planning to use
    • Multiple Session Application Screen: All running sessions are displayed in one Application Screen. The application screen shows the name of the session, the operation of the session, the error or abortion flag, completion progress bar, successful completion flag. The user can abort a session, tap on a session to monitor its real time running progress and get detailed setting. It is a very easy way to view, navigate, and control the sessions
    • Main Erase Modes:
    • Continuous Mode: The user can run continuous erase operations with a multiple session operation. Each port, whether it is NVMe or USB, can be used as an independent session for the erase operation. The user plugs a digital storage device into a port and run an erase session. The user can abort the operation in the middle of the run, independent of other running sessions. When the erase session is completed, the user can continue to remove the erased device from the port and replace it with another device that needs erasing. All of this is possible while other sessions are still continuously running
    • Batch Mode: The user can select and run a single session with certain ports and devices. For example, you can combine all 8 channels into one session

    • Erase and Quick Format Operation:
    • Drive Erase Protocols:
    • • DoD 5220-22M (ECE) Mode: It use 7 passes/iteration to rewrite the drive and use the last 8th pass/iteration for verification
    • • DoD Lite 5220-22M (E) Mode: It use 3 passes/iteration to rewrite the drive and use the last 4th pass/iteration for verification
    • Security Erase Mode: Use the internal firmware of the drive to perform internal drive erase. the erase operation overwrites all user data areas with binary zeroes. It is most efficient operation and save the time to to perform 8 iteration. It has a built-in verification process. (It supported by SATA drives that MFG after year 2000)
    • Enhanced Security Erase Mode: It is very similar to Security Erase mode. It is the most recommended erase mode for drives that supported by this mode. The Enhanced Security Erase mode writes pre-determined data patterns (set by the manufacturer) to all user data areas, including sectors that are no longer in use due to re-allocation
    • • "User" Erase Mode: The user can define it own parameters on how to run the erase operation, he /she also can decide on the final pattern of the data that will be writing to the drive, the number of erase iterations, and the verification mode ( Non, Full, partial which is randomly verify up to 10% of the area on the drive)
    • Sanitize Erase Mode: Supported mostly by new SAS SSD, 3 types( rewrite the media, block erase similar to security erase where the f/w of the drive does the erase, and Crypto mode - encrypt the drive and delete the encryption key)
    • Security Erase NVMe formats: There are three modes (NVMe Format, Crypto, Secure Erase). NVMe format the best way to erase NVMe SSD with multiple namespaces
    • NIST Compliance: Security Erase, Enhanced Security Erase, DoD erase, Sanitize erase protocols are all NIST 800-88 compliance. The "User" Erase mode is NIST compliance only when user enable the full verification option
    • Erase Drives with pass-code: The application will be able to erase drives that are password protected only if user have the pass-code. A user shell insert the pass-code in Security Erase setting prior running the erase operation
    • Full or Quick Format: NTFS, FAT, exFAT, HFS+, EXT4
    • Logs and Erase Certification: The application generates extensive erase log files and erase certification (option to save to in NIST 800-88 format) that are easy to export to USB flash drive. The user can upload their company Logo and business address and the application will embed it in the report. Also the user will be able to enter a constant text (like a job #, operator info), that will be automatically append into the erase certificate
    • Drive Diagnostics and S.M.A.R.T. drive tests: If user intend to erase drives for re-use purpose, it would be recommended to to run some "Health test" on the drive prior to erase process. There are available are 3 type of drive diagnostic tests:
      * Read-Verify test (supported by all digital storage media)
      * SMART Short Test (2-5 minutes) which scan random area on the drive,
      * SMART Extended Full Test (Can take hours) that scan the entire drive,
      * SMART Conveyance Test that identify damage incurred during transporting of the drive, to evaluate the "health" condition of the drive prior to erase operation
      (SMART tests support by SATA protocols only, and it is not supported by NVMe SSD)
    • SQL Logfiles Database: The user be able to manage the log files in one SQL database. Easily export all the log files
    • Built in USA: The units are built and tested in the US
